Michael Kadish

Michael Kadish is a clean energy strategist, nonprofit leader, and public affairs professional with more than two decades of experience helping organizations build partnerships, advance ambitious initiatives, and achieve meaningful impact. Michael’s career has spanned the nonprofit, public, political, and private sectors, giving him a unique perspective on how organizations build support, navigate change, and turn ideas into action.

Through Insight Power Partners, Michael advises climate, clean energy, and mission-driven organizations on business development, communications, strategic partnerships, public affairs, and organizational growth. His work spans nonprofits, businesses, foundations, government agencies, and community-based organizations.

Michael is the founder of Ocean State Climate Alliance, a Rhode Island-based organization advancing practical climate and clean energy solutions. He also serves as a consultant to the Jewish Solar Challenge, helping Jewish community institutions adopt solar energy to become more environmentally and financially sustainable.

Previously, Michael served as Executive Director of GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles, where he led one of the nation’s largest clean energy nonprofit organizations. Under his leadership, GRID expanded access to solar energy and workforce development opportunities throughout Southern California, helping thousands of families benefit from clean energy while creating pathways into the renewable energy workforce.

Michael is also the founder of Incentivize Green, an electric vehicle incentive platform whose technology was acquired by Coltura in 2025. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions in government, public policy, and advocacy, including service with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, New York City government, and the 2008 Obama presidential campaign.

Michael has served as Board President of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters and as a founding board member of GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles. Organizations under his leadership have received recognition from the U.S. Green Building Council–Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, and other organizations for innovation, community impact, and clean energy leadership.

Michael holds a B.A. in History with honors from Columbia University and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
